Terms and Conditions
Last updated October 18, 2026
Please read these terms. They cover how you may use MusicLynk, what you get when you buy music or Stars, and the limits of our responsibility. MusicLynk is owned and operated by World Famous Media Group LLC.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and World Famous Media Group LLC, which operates the MusicLynk platform ("we", "us"). MusicLynk is the platform and brand we own and operate; it is not a separate company. When these terms say MusicLynk or "the site", they mean that platform, its website, apps and services. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
If you upload or sell music, offer beats as a producer, go live, or otherwise act as an artist, producer or label, the Artist Agreement also applies to you.
2. Who can use the site
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account, and the date of birth you give must be your real one. An account that shows its holder is under 13 is closed. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you, to buy anything, to buy or send Stars, or to act as an artist or label.
Minor accounts: people aged 13 to 17 may use the site with the limits described in these terms. They cannot play or buy music labeled Explicit, and they are never included in the audience totals artists see.
You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it. Keep your password private and give us accurate information.
3. Your age information
We ask for your date of birth when you create an account. We use it to confirm you are old enough for an account, to apply age limits such as the Explicit content rule below, and, for adults only, to give artists combined audience totals.
Your age, date of birth and age range are never shown on your profile or to other people. Artists never see an individual listener's age. They see only combined totals for groups of at least 10 adults. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
If you have not given a date of birth, you are asked for it before you can play or buy Explicit music.
4. Explicit content and age-restricted music
Artists must label each track Clean or Explicit when they upload it. A release that contains any Explicit track is marked Explicit, and each Explicit track carries its own label.
Listeners under 18 cannot play tracks labeled Explicit, wherever they appear on the site, and cannot buy a release that contains Explicit tracks. Clean tracks on the same release can still be played. Buying or unlocking something never overrides this rule.
Labels are supplied by artists. We may review, add, change or correct a label, and age-restrict, restrict or remove content, under our policies or where the law requires. A label is not a promise that content is suitable for any particular person.
5. What the site is
MusicLynk lets artists and labels upload and sell their music and connect with fans. The music, artwork, names, live video and other material on the site are supplied by the artists and labels who upload them, not by us.
We do not review material before it appears. We do not guarantee that any material is lawful, accurate, or owned by the person who uploaded it.
6. Free plays, Hearts and purchases
Artists choose how many times each track can be played free. After that, the album must be bought to keep listening.
You can press the Heart on any song to show you love it. A Heart is one per person per song, adds the song to your Liked Songs and adds one to its public count. It is not a purchase. Artists see how many people hearted their songs, never who. Using scripts, fake accounts or paid schemes to add Hearts is not allowed.
When you buy an album you get a personal, non-transferable license to the copy you bought: you can play it on MusicLynk from your Library as much as you like, and, where the artist allows downloads, download the files and play them on your own devices for your own private listening. Buying music does not give you ownership of the copyright in the recording or the song, or any right to share, upload, resell, broadcast, publicly perform, synchronize or otherwise use it commercially. "Music you own" on MusicLynk means this personal copy.
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and a purchase counts only once the payment is confirmed. All sales are final except where the law requires a refund or we decide to give one. If a purchase is refunded or the payment is reversed, it leaves your Library and can no longer be played or downloaded through the site.
If an artist stops selling an album, people who already bought it keep it in their Library. Artists choose whether an album can be downloaded and may change that later; files you already downloaded stay yours to play privately. If we take a release or track down (for example after a copyright complaint, a rights dispute, a legal requirement or a breach of our policies), it stops playing and cannot be downloaded through the site, including for people who bought it. Refunds in that case are given where the law requires or where we decide to give one.
7. Gifting music
You can give a release, or a song the artist sells on its own, to someone on MusicLynk by their @username, or as a claim link you share yourself. A gift is paid like a purchase, at the full price, and the person who receives it gets the same personal license as a buyer. They see who sent it and your note, never the price.
A claim link works once, for 30 days. The person who opens it signs in or creates an account to claim it. If nobody claims it in 30 days, the full amount is refunded to the card you paid with. You can cancel an unclaimed gift for a full refund at any time before it is claimed. If the person already owns it, the gift is not used and you are refunded in full.
Once a gift is claimed, or delivered to an @username, it is final like any purchase, except where the law requires a refund or after a payment is reversed. If a gift is refunded or reversed, it leaves the recipient's Library, and both of you are told. Explicit releases and songs can only be given to, or claimed by, someone 18 or over who has added their date of birth. You can send up to 10 gifts a day.
8. Buying merch from artists
Artists can sell physical merchandise (such as clothing, vinyl, CDs and posters) from their Store on MusicLynk. The artist is the seller of the item and is responsible for it: what it is, its description, making it and sending it. MusicLynk runs the Store and takes the payment through our payment provider.
The price, shipping and any discount are shown before you pay, and any sales tax where we collect it. Your order is confirmed only when our payment provider confirms the payment. Items are held for you while you pay; if you do not finish paying, they go back on sale.
A preorder is charged when you order and ships later, around the estimated date shown. Dates are the artist's estimate. Limited editions, signed items and "only a few left" notices are the artist's statements and must be true; report anything misleading to us.
Returns follow the policy shown on the product page. Items that arrive damaged, faulty or different from their description must be put right whatever that policy says, and no store policy removes the rights the law gives you. If something goes wrong, report it from your order page first so the artist can fix it.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We may cancel or refund an order, or put a store or product on hold, for example for suspected fraud, counterfeit or prohibited goods, or a store that does not ship. Using stolen cards, fake orders, abusing discount codes, or opening chargebacks for orders you received is not allowed and may close your account.
Your shipping name and address are used only to deliver your order. See the Privacy Policy.
9. Agreements between members
You can send an agreement to people you work with on MusicLynk by uploading a document or, where we offer one, filling in a template. Each person accepts by typing their full name and ticking that they agree. MusicLynk keeps a record of who accepted which version and when.
An agreement is between the people on it. MusicLynk is not a party to it, does not check or enforce it, and does not give legal advice. Templates are offered only after a lawyer has approved them for use on the site, but they may not fit your situation: have your own lawyer review anything important.
Send only documents you have the right to share, and only to people who expect them. A sent agreement can't be changed; to change the terms, cancel it and send a new one.
10. Licensing beats from producers
Producers can offer beats (instrumentals) on MusicLynk under licenses they set up. When you license a beat, your rights come only from the license agreement shown to you before you pay, which you accept by typing your legal name, ticking "I have read and agree to this beat license" and paying. The agreement is between you and the producer. MusicLynk is not a party to it, does not own the beat, and does not give legal advice.
A lease is non-exclusive: the producer keeps the beat and can license it to others, and your use is limited as the agreement says (for example streams, sales, videos, performances and the term). An exclusive license stops new licenses from the time of purchase; unless the agreement says the producer transfers their rights, the producer keeps the copyright. Nothing on the site means you own the beat unless your agreement says so.
Leases sold before an exclusive stay valid on their own terms. Before you buy an exclusive we show how many leases of that beat were sold on the site.
The agreement takes effect when our payment provider confirms your payment. A copy is kept in My Licenses exactly as you accepted it, with your files. If someone else completes the exclusive a moment before you, or the beat stops being available before your payment arrives, your payment is refunded in full and no license is granted.
A license is a digital item delivered when you can download it, so it is not returnable once delivered, except where the producer or we refund it or the law requires. A full refund ends the license and the rights it granted. Opening a chargeback for a license you received is not allowed and may close your account.
If a beat is the subject of a rights complaint we may put it on hold or remove it, which stops new sales and downloads. Licenses already sold stay on record. Report a beat you believe infringes your rights from its page; reports are reviewed by people and never remove a beat by themselves.
11. The Circle and live video
Joining an artist's Circle is free and lets you watch that artist live, take part in the chat and send gifts. Artists and we may remove anyone from a Circle or a live at any time.
Live video is unscripted. We do not control what an artist says or does while live and are not responsible for it.
12. AI Artists and AI music
Some artists on the site are AI Artists: disclosed AI music projects. Their pages are labeled AI ARTIST and say who creates and runs them, and their posts and messages are published by those people. Every song says whether its artist describes it as made by people, AI-assisted or AI-generated. These labels come from the artist; we review reports and may correct them, but we do not guarantee that every label is accurate.
You may not use the site to impersonate any person, to use someone's voice, name, likeness or identity without permission, including through AI voice cloning, or to mislead people about whether music or an artist is AI. You can report a page or a track for impersonation, voice cloning, a misleading AI label, misuse of identity, copied work or fraud. We do not tell the artist who reported them.
13. Circle Score, levels, badges, Top 8 and rewards
In each Circle you join you get a Circle Score, a level and badges, worked out automatically from your activity with that artist: listening, Hearts, sharing, joining Lives and Drop Rooms, taking part in the Feed, polls and Circle Chat, how long you have been a member, purchases and Stars (which count only up to a limit), and being recognized by the artist. Repeated actions on the same day or the same item count once, refunded purchases stop counting, and spending alone never decides who is on top. Leaving a Circle removes your score in it.
Each artist page shows a Top 8 for the last 90 days and for all time. Your level and badges may appear next to your name in that artist's Feed, comments and Circle Chat and on your profile. You can hide yourself from Top 8 lists and leaderboards at any time; you keep earning levels, badges and rewards, and the artist still sees you in their own Circle.
Artists may offer rewards that unlock automatically at a level, a badge or the Top 8, such as a Vault item, a Store discount code or a private message. Rewards are offered by the artist, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. We may change how Circle Score is calculated, recalculate scores, and remove scores, badges or rewards gained through fake accounts, scripts, paid schemes or other manipulation.
14. Virtual Stars
Virtual Stars ("Stars") are a digital item you can buy on MusicLynk and use only on MusicLynk to send gifts to artists. Buying Stars gives you a limited, personal, revocable licence to use them for that purpose. You do not own them.
Stars are not money, a deposit, a stored-value account, an investment, a security or a cryptocurrency. They have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, traded, transferred to another person or used anywhere else. They do not earn interest.
Virtual Star purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or the applicable payment platform. Before you pay, you are asked to confirm that you understand this, and we keep a record of that confirmation.
A gift cannot be taken back once it is sent. When you send a gift, the artist receives a share of its value under the Artist Agreement; you receive nothing in return except taking part in the live.
Stars do not expire at this time. If that ever changes, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
If a Stars purchase is refunded, disputed, charged back or reversed, we may remove up to the same number of Stars from your balance and may suspend or close your account. Your balance will not go below zero.
If you bought Stars through an app store or another payment platform, that platform's own refund rules also apply and a refund request may need to go to that platform.
If you believe a charge is wrong, or the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, write to wearemusiclynk@gmail.com with the date and amount of the purchase. Nothing in this section takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be waived.
We may change the price of Stars, the packs offered and the cost of gifts at any time; a change does not alter Stars you already hold. If your account is closed for breaking these terms, any unused Stars are lost.
15. Profiles, usernames and links
Your username, display name, bio and the links you choose to show are public. You are responsible for them. Do not use them to pretend to be someone else, to mislead, or to link to anything unlawful or harmful.
Some names are reserved. "Official MusicLynk" marks the account we run for MusicLynk and is separate from the Verified Artist mark. Neither can be bought, and no other account may present itself as official.
We may remove or change a username, bio or link, and may take back a username, where these terms are broken or to prevent confusion.
16. Team access
An artist can invite other people to work on the artist's account from their own sign-in, with full access or only the parts the artist chooses. The artist is responsible for who they invite and for what those people do on the account, and can change or remove access at any time.
If you are given access to an artist's account you may use it only for that artist's business and as the artist allows. Do not share your sign-in. Some things stay with the artist alone, including bank and payout details, cashing out, paying for a plan and managing the team.
17. CYRUS and voice
CYRUS is an assistant for artists. It reads account totals and prepares suggestions and drafts. It does not make decisions for you, and nothing it prepares is sent, signed, paid or published unless you approve it on the screen. Speaking to CYRUS does not replace that approval.
CYRUS can be wrong. It is not a lawyer, accountant, financial adviser or doctor, and what it says is not professional advice. Check important facts and figures before you rely on them.
Voice is optional. The microphone is used only while you have a voice session switched on, and you can end it at any time. How speech is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
18. Rules for everyone
You agree not to:
- copy, download, record, re-upload or share music or video from the site, or get around the free-play limit or any other technical protection
- give a false date of birth, or use someone else's account, to get around an age limit
- upload, post or stream anything you do not have the right to share, or anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that sexualizes or endangers a minor
- pretend to be another person, artist or company
- use bots, scripts or fake accounts, or try to inflate plays, sales, Circle numbers, Stars or gifts
- use a payment method without permission, or use Stars, gifts or purchases to move money, hide where money came from, or commit fraud
- interfere with the site, probe it for weaknesses, or access accounts or data that are not yours
19. Content belongs to the people who post it, and so does the responsibility
Artists and labels are solely responsible for everything they upload, post, sell or stream, including whether they own it and whether it is legal. We are not the publisher or author of that material and we are not responsible or liable for it.
What you write in chat or elsewhere on the site is your responsibility. You give us permission to display it on the site.
20. The platform belongs to us; your content stays yours
The MusicLynk software, website and apps, their design, the MusicLynk logos and artwork, CYRUS and the platform's documentation, and the material we create to run the platform are owned by World Famous Media Group LLC or the companies that license them to us. You may use them only to use the site as these terms allow. You may not copy, change, sell or reuse them.
This never covers what people upload. Artists, producers, labels and other users keep ownership of their music, recordings (masters), songs and publishing, beats, lyrics, artwork, photos, videos and everything else they upload. World Famous Media Group LLC does not own that content because it operates MusicLynk. We use it only under the permission described in these terms and the Artist Agreement.
Buying music on MusicLynk gives you the personal license described above. The copyright, master and publishing rights stay with the artist, label, licensor or other rights holder.
21. Content moderation, removal and reports
We may review content and accounts at any time. We may label or relabel content (including as Explicit), age-restrict it, limit who can see or play it, disable or remove it, hold related payments, or suspend or close accounts where we believe our terms or policies have been broken, where the law requires, or to protect people or the site.
You can report a track whose Explicit label looks wrong. Reports are reviewed by people. A report does not change or remove anything by itself. We do not remove music permanently on the basis of an unverified report alone. Sending false or abusive reports can lead to action against your account, and there is a daily limit on reports.
When we change or remove an artist's content we tell the artist, with the reason. An artist who believes we made a mistake can reply to support.
22. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, use the copyright claim form at MusicLynk.com/copyright or send a notice to World Famous Media Group LLC, which operates MusicLynk, by email to wearemusiclynk@gmail.com with: your name and contact details; what work is yours; exactly where the material is on the site; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
We review every notice. When a notice is complete and credible we put the material on hold, and we tell the person who uploaded it. They may send a counter-notice from the link in that notice if they believe the removal was a mistake, and where the law provides for it the material may be restored, no sooner than 14 days later, if the complaining party does not tell us they have started legal action.
Other decisions: when MusicLynk removes content, changes a label, takes music down or suspends an account, we tell the person affected and why. Each decision can be appealed once, within 30 days, from Decisions in the account.
Repeat infringement: we close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people who are the subject of repeated valid complaints.
23. Suspension and closing accounts
We may remove any material, end any live, or suspend or close any account, at any time, if we believe these terms have been broken, if the law requires it, or to protect the site or other people. You can stop using the site at any time.
24. No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any material on it is lawful, accurate or non-infringing.
25. Limit of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from the site or from anything uploaded, sold or streamed on it by others.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim arose or fifty US dollars. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
26. You cover losses you cause
If someone brings a claim against us because of something you uploaded, posted, streamed or did on the site, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to defend us and pay the resulting costs, damages and reasonable legal fees.
27. Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top. Each version is kept with its date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms; for some changes we may ask you to agree again before you continue, for example before buying Stars.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which World Famous Media Group LLC is organized, in the United States, and disputes will be handled by the courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
