Artist Agreement

Last updated October 18, 2026

This is the agreement for artists and labels on MusicLynk. The short version: only upload what you have the rights and permissions for, label explicit content accurately, and you are responsible for what you upload.

1. Who this applies to

This agreement is between you and World Famous Media Group LLC, which operates the MusicLynk platform ("we", "us"). It applies to anyone who uploads, sells or streams material on MusicLynk as an artist, producer or label ("you"), in addition to the Terms and Conditions. You accept it when you create an artist or label account and again each time you upload.

If you act for a band, a company or a label, you confirm you have the authority to accept this agreement for them, and "you" includes them.

2. You must have every right and permission you need

Every time you upload or stream anything, you promise that you own or control all the rights needed to upload, stream, distribute, sell and promote it on the site worldwide, or that you have obtained every written license, permission, consent and agreement needed from the other rights holders. You do not need to own everything yourself: co-owned and licensed material is fine as long as those permissions cover these uses. This covers:

You are responsible for paying anyone you owe in connection with your material, such as co-writers, producers, featured artists, a label or a publisher.

A cover version, remix, mashup, or a track built on a leased beat is allowed only if you hold every license needed to sell and stream it here. Read your agreements: some beat leases and licenses limit sales, streams or platforms.

You promise that your material is not subject to any exclusive deal that prevents you from putting it on the site.

3. Confirming on every upload

Each time you upload a release you confirm, for that release and its tracks, that you have the rights and permissions described above and that your content labels are accurate. We record who confirmed, for which release and tracks, which version of this agreement applied, and when.

We may ask you for proof of your rights, such as a beat license, producer, feature or collaboration agreement, sample clearance, or label or distribution authorization. You agree to provide it promptly. You can also store these documents privately with a release in your Studio. They are visible only to you, the team members you give Music access, and MusicLynk staff handling a review or dispute.

4. Content labels: Clean or Explicit

You must label every track Clean or Explicit before it can be published. Label a track Explicit if it contains explicit lyrics or other content that needs an Explicit label, including strong language, sexual content, or descriptions of violence or drug use. If one track on a release is Explicit, the release is marked Explicit.

Listeners under 18 cannot play or buy Explicit tracks. You are responsible for labeling accurately. If a track is labeled wrongly, we may relabel it, age-restrict, restrict or remove it, and may take other action on your account. Once we have reviewed and labeled a track, you cannot change that label yourself; you can appeal the decision from Decisions in your account within 30 days.

5. AI Artists and AI use

An AI Artist is a page whose music or identity is materially AI-generated, or a disclosed AI music project. If that describes your page, you must mark it as an AI Artist and say who creates and runs it. AI Artist pages are always labeled, and everything posted from them is shown as published by the people who run them. You must not present an AI Artist as a human being.

On every release you must say, for each track, whether it was made by people, AI-assisted or AI-generated, and which parts used AI. Routine tools such as noise clean-up, mixing or mastering do not count as AI use. The label must be accurate. We may relabel a track, label a page as an AI Artist, restrict or remove music, or take other action if a label is wrong.

Using AI does not by itself give you the rights you need. For any track that uses AI you confirm that the terms of every AI tool or service you used allow you to upload, stream, distribute, sell and monetize it; that no real person's voice, likeness or identity is imitated or cloned without their written permission; and that the lyrics, samples, melodies and other material in it, including contributions from collaborators, are yours or properly licensed. You must not use AI to impersonate an artist or any other person, or to mislead listeners about who made the music.

6. What you must never upload or stream

7. You take full responsibility

You are solely and fully responsible for everything you upload, sell, post or stream, and for anything illegal done through your account. MusicLynk does not check, approve or endorse your material, and is not responsible or liable for it in any way.

If anyone makes a claim against us (World Famous Media Group LLC, including as operator of MusicLynk), our owners, staff or partners because of your material or your conduct, including a claim that it infringes someone's rights or breaks the law, you agree to defend them and to pay all resulting losses, damages, settlements, fines, costs and reasonable legal fees. This continues to apply after your account is closed.

We may keep back money owed to you, and take back money already paid to you, to cover a claim, refund, chargeback or loss connected to your material or account.

8. The permission you give us

You keep ownership of your material, subject to any rights others hold in it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, encode and transcode, stream, display, make available, sell access to, and promote your material within MusicLynk and its apps, and to use your artist name, artwork and short previews to promote you and MusicLynk. This permission is only what we need to run the service. It does not transfer ownership of anything to us.

World Famous Media Group LLC operating MusicLynk never makes it the owner of your music, masters, songs or publishing, beats, lyrics, artwork, videos or photos. Our own platform (the MusicLynk software, design, logos and CYRUS) belongs to us and is separate from your content.

Files shared in a Collaboration Room are never published, sold or promoted under this permission. In a room we only host, store, process and show them to the people in that room, as the Collaboration Room Participation & Rights Agreement describes.

This permission ends for a piece of material when you remove it, except that people who already bought it may keep access to it, and we may keep copies needed for legal, accounting and backup reasons.

Downloads: for each album you choose whether people who buy it may download it. New albums allow downloads unless you turn it off; albums that were on sale before October 14, 2026 are stream-only until you turn downloads on. While downloads are on, you permit MusicLynk to deliver the files you uploaded to buyers for their personal, private listening on their own devices. Turning downloads off stops new downloads; it cannot recall files already downloaded. Buyers never receive the copyright or any commercial rights.

9. How you are paid

There are no per-stream payments. You are paid when fans buy your music and when they send you gifts.

For each sale, we keep the platform percentage shown in your Studio at the time of the sale and the rest is paid to you. Payment processing fees may also be deducted.

For gifts sent during your lives, you receive the artist share shown in your Studio. Gift earnings are held for the period shown there before you can cash out, and there is a minimum cash-out amount.

Payments are made through our payment provider to the account you set up with them. You must complete their identity and banking checks. We are not responsible for delays or holds caused by the payment provider or your bank.

Refunds, chargebacks, reversals and fraudulent purchases are deducted from what you are owed. We may change the platform percentage and gift share for future sales and gifts by giving notice on the site.

You are responsible for your own taxes and for reporting your income. You are an independent seller, not our employee, partner or agent.

10. Selling merchandise in your Store

If you sell merchandise through your MusicLynk Store you are the seller. You are responsible for your products, their quality and safety, and for every claim you make about them, including "signed", "limited edition", stock counts and ship dates. Only show a count of what is left if it is true.

You must own or have permission for every name, logo, image, artwork and design on your products. Counterfeit, bootleg or infringing merchandise is not allowed.

Keep your stock accurate. Ship each order within the time you set in Store settings (or, for a preorder, around the estimated date), add tracking when you have it, and keep proof of shipping. Use buyers' names and addresses only to send their order; do not keep them longer than you need, add them to mailing lists, or share them.

Your return policy must allow for items that arrive damaged, faulty or different from their description, and cannot take away buyers' legal rights. You handle returns and exchanges as your policy says.

Fees: MusicLynk keeps the platform percentage of your plan on the items after discounts (not on shipping or tax), shown in your Studio at the time of each sale. The payment provider's card fee is passed to you and shown on each order. Your share is paid to your payment-provider account. Refunds, chargebacks and reversals come out of your share; we give back our fee in proportion to a refund, and the card fee is not returned.

Where the law requires MusicLynk to collect sales tax on your sales, we collect and pay it, and it is not part of your share. Otherwise you are responsible for any tax on your sales and income.

The Store is part of paid plans. If your plan ends, your store pauses: nothing is deleted, and you must still ship, and refund where appropriate, every order already placed. We may hold or remove a product, or suspend a store, for a breach of these terms, complaints, fraud or orders not being shipped, and we may refund buyers in those cases.

11. Producers and beat licenses

A page can be an Artist page, a Producer page or both. If you offer beats on MusicLynk, this section applies to you as well as the rest of this agreement.

Before a beat can be offered you make a rights statement: either that you created it and own or control 100% of the rights, or that it includes samples, loops or other people's work and you have every license, consent and written permission needed for the uses you sell. You list collaborators and samples, and every sample must be cleared for those uses. Changing a beat's audio means making the statement again. You may keep proof documents privately with the beat; we may ask for them in a review or rights dispute.

You set your license tiers from the fields we provide. The standard protections in the agreement (payment before rights, no resale of the beat itself, your promises about rights, earlier leases staying valid, and our role) cannot be removed or reduced by additional terms. Editing a tier creates a new version; agreements already accepted keep the version the buyer accepted.

You must not sell a license you cannot honour. Do not sell an exclusive for a beat you have already sold exclusively anywhere, and tell an exclusive buyer about licenses you granted outside the site. When an exclusive is sold, new licenses stop if the tier says so, and you must stop offering the beat elsewhere as the agreement says.

You deliver the files a license includes by uploading them before or soon after a sale. Previews are public: use a tagged or shortened version.

Fees: MusicLynk keeps the platform percentage of your plan on each license sold, shown in your Studio. The payment provider's card fee is passed to you. Your share is paid to your payment-provider account. You may refund a license in full or in part; refunds, chargebacks and reversals come out of your share, we give back our fee in proportion to a refund, and the card fee is not returned. A fully refunded license ends.

We may hold or remove a beat, refund buyers, or limit your selling for a rights complaint, fraud, misleading licenses or a breach of these terms. We never delete the records of licenses already sold. Repeat infringers lose the ability to sell.

12. Artist and Producer profiles under one account

On Platinum, your account can have a second professional profile, so you can keep an Artist profile and a Producer profile separately. They are one account: one sign-in, one plan and one payout account. Both profiles share the plan's limits; the second profile never adds a second set of limits. This agreement applies to everything you do on either profile.

If your account leaves Platinum, nothing is deleted. Both profiles, and everything on them, stay up and keep selling, but new uploads to the second profile pause until the account is back on Platinum.

13. Going live

Everything in this agreement applies to live video. You are responsible for everything that is seen and heard while you are live, including music playing in the background and anyone else who appears.

Do not ask for gifts in a way that is deceptive, and do not promise anything in return for gifts that you do not deliver.

14. Removal, complaints and repeat infringers

We may relabel, age-restrict, restrict, disable or remove any material, end any live, hold payments, or suspend or close your account, if we receive a complaint, if we believe this agreement or our policies have been broken, or if the law requires it. When we change or remove your content we tell you with the reason. Reply to support if you believe we made a mistake.

Rights disputes (for example ownership, an unauthorized upload or a sample dispute) are handled by reviewing the evidence both sides provide. While a dispute is open we may restrict the material and hold related payments.

If your material is removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to wearemusiclynk@gmail.com. Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid complaints are closed.

We may share information about you and your uploads with rights holders, courts and law enforcement where the law requires or allows it.

15. Ending this agreement

You may remove your material and close your account at any time. Money you are owed, after any deductions described above, will be paid in the normal way. The promises you made about ownership, and your duty to cover claims, continue after this agreement ends.
